i can feeeeel that it’ll be a great year.
On new year’s eve, made a jug of cocktail and enjoyed a breezy night counting down on the rooftop. Then popped over to Jean’s house to wii till 5.30am. So, i also follow suit and bought it on new year’s day… bummer… can’t work with my Jap set.
Now it’s a white elephant, a new platform for Forrest to sleep on.
Recently got hooked to Little Nonya after Jonathan’s class got me interested… So apparently, Gary watches it too… so we relac at his place with Martini and dicuss the plot away… haha…
He’s finally going hong kong after promising cec for 10 whole years… yay…
Boy to man
I think Forrest finally turned from a girly boy to a girly man! I found him a new toy and he enjoyed flipping it up into the air, catch it and maul it. I haven’t seen him so active in a year!
I wondered if it was the toy but he has been more agressive, i actually bled when he scratched me. Last night, he actually sat up and watched Animal Planet with me, he must be wanting to chase the gazelle down too…
I found a hand that didn’t belong to Jango or Boba or Anakin… alamak, where did ah bui chew it off from?
Ah bui grow up le.
I stole the first prize
We went for our D&D with the theme “back to school”. So we went in our “nerd’s costume” again. My belt was so tight that i couldn’t eat the whole night.
As usual, Cherry and Mike made the night more crazy and wild - the bicycle dancing, the YMCA dance. Anw, i never thought i would win the best dressed as i had to pit myself against 4 other students and 1 sexy mama.
But maybe it was my dancing… maybe the night was dominated by the IT folks. Ros, garluck all got their chance to go on the stage to let the rest know that IIT is made up of fun(ny) people.

The last weekend was spent looking for a new car.
Shifu says… this year i must drive red car… so i was all set to get my all time dream car, a red beetle.
But thank god, it was out of stock, if not it would have made the decision harder.
The test drive was so lousy… i rev all the way, it was still rather slow.
Me: i need a faster car.
Salesperson: orr…. beetle is not a performance car, it is a lifestyle car.
So, it boils down to subaru 2.0! Got cruise control somemore…
of course, mummy, kor kor, che che… all make noise… a lot of noise …. “1.5L enough already, why 2.0L? you work so far… you drive around… road tax more expensive… etc etc etc”
But i stood my ground and got the 2.0L, which means… i must really be careful not to kena traffic police again.
But there’s no more xiaohong, so i got xiaolan 2.0 again.
